Gladwin A. Read Company (GARCO) has brought on Robbie Shaw as their east coast sales representative. Robbie will be responsible for customer relationships and product sales from Maine to Florida and states within the eastern corn belt. Robbie’s career has been highlighted by successfully helping customers accomplish their goals with a range of feed technology. This diversity of product knowledge and his technical support acumen is sought after by producers looking to drive further efficiencies and performance on their operations.
Robbie grew up on a 500-acre dairy in Maryland, eventually taking ownership of the farm and operating it with his family until the year 2000. Years of hands-on experience helps him understand the economic, production, and animal welfare challenges producers face—and why he is a strong advocate of the feed technologies he now represents. During his career he has led sales teams with several prominent companies and has a wide set of successes to continue building upon.

When he’s not in work mode, Robbie breeds, shows and markets Jersey show cattle on his farm in Maryland. His cattle have won numerous local, national, and international titles in competition, and in various capacities his entire family is involved right along with him.
