Sometimes our newborn calves don’t want to walk in from the field. We took a large animal trap, cut the top out of it, and added a wooden floor. We put hinges on the right side of the door so it swings out instead of up. After adding a hitch and wheels, we had a handy means of transportation for our young calves.
