When you’re out on the farm updating identification tags on animals, it can get disorganized when you’re looking through a pile of ear tags that you’re pulling from your pocket. We like to use empty cardboard boxes to build an organizer that allows us to lay out all the tags in order. It can be placed on the tailgate on whatever vehicle we are driving from one corral to another. Since it’s still a box, it can also be used to hold other papers and documents while we work. Once it’s dirty or damaged, we throw it out and make a new one.
