Dairy Calf and Heifer Association’s (DCHA) August 7 webinar features Brandt Kreuscher, Dairy Business Development Manager, North America and Erica Tessmann, Marketing Manager for Dairy Monitoring Technology, both of Merck Animal Health. They will lead this free, one-hour educational offering, which starts at 2 p.m. Central time (Chicago time).

During this webinar, Kreuscher and Tessmann will explain why calves are the most vulnerable group on a dairy and how calf care strategies can protect these young animals and help them thrive in the future. One tool – the M-Power dairy platform from Merck Animal Health – includes calf care solutions to make calf management more efficient and less stressful. A first-of-its-kind solution, SenseHub Dairy Youngstock monitoring empowers producers to grow strong replacements by managing nipple-fed calves in single hutches for optimal health. By attaching an LED ear tag at birth, employees can detect quicker and act faster to prioritize care of the most vulnerable group on the farm.
