DeLaval, a global leader in dairy farming solutions, is introducing the Evanza™ Milking Cluster in the United States. The groundbreaking milking cluster solution for dairy operations is one of the most efficient and ergonomic milking clusters ever developed, featuring a unique cartridge design instead of a liner.

DeLaval Evanza is lightweight but capable of delivering more milk and improving udder health, helping farmers optimize milk production and contribute to greater resource efficiency while using less labor. Supporting improvements in performance, animal welfare, service, ergonomics and reliability, the Evanza is capable of transforming milk production on farms across the United States.

“This is an exciting step on our innovation journey,” said Jeff Hahn, Solution Manager of Milking Systems at DeLaval. “This product demonstrates our commitment to continuing to drive progress in milk production and to providing dairy farmers with cutting-edge technology that can revolutionize their work.”

DeLaval integrated its award-winning technologies into the design of the Evanza to maximize its efficiency, like the DeLaval Clover™ Cartridge which improves milking performance, eliminates the need for twisted liners and increases lifetime wear. The Evanza also contains a newly designed claw with reimagined TopFlow™ technology, capable of improving milking and udder health by keeping vacuum levels more stable. The innovative design also integrates the DeLaval Turn&Milk™ feature that makes connections between claw and teat-cup easier than ever for time-saving exchanges and easier handling.

“With Evanza, farmers can change all four cartridges in less than one minute, which reduces maintenance and service time by up to 58% with significant labor reductions and superior efficiency,” said Hahn. “Farmers who are using the Evanza Milking Cluster have seen milking times reduced by up to 7% with up to 9.3% higher milk flow.”*

In addition to its incredible performance, farmers using the Evanza have reported up to 83% fewer slips with teat condition improving by up to 92%.*

The Evanza Milking Cluster is now available for purchase across the United States and can be integrated and used in combination with DeLaval rotaries, parlors, detergents and Clover cartridges.
