Challenges in the dairy industry are well known, and technology is becoming available to help address some challenges. We are studying producer and user trust of dairy technologies and their views on the technology used in many dairy operations. This information will help the dairy industry better understand the factors influencing trust in technology and affecting users’ decisions to use technology.

The University of Tennessee is conducting a research study to identify methods dairy producers use currently to assess animal welfare, assess facilitators and barriers to using data and precision technologies in welfare assessment, and trust in data and data security.
