Kevin Cain, D.V.M.
TechMix has hired Dr. Kevin Cain as Bovine Technical Services Veterinarian. Dr. Cain will be instrumental in helping partners and customers better understand how TechMix products offer physiological benefits that lead to optimized performance outcomes. As the livestock industry evolves in response to consumer demands, non-pharmaceutical innovations are becoming increasingly important. TechMix is at the forefront of these solutions, and Dr. Cain will be instrumental in advancing this mission. He will lead face-to-face technical support and collaborate closely with the bovine sales team to deliver data-driven insights and meaningful support to the industry.

Kevin’s professional journey is impressive. After earning his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University, he owned and operated a mixed animal practice in South Dakota, focusing on cow/calf, feedlot, and background cattle production, with special expertise in cattle reproduction and artificial insemination. In 2017, he sold his practice and transitioned to a role as Technical Service Veterinarian with Multimin/Axiota. There, he spearheaded R&D efforts, conducted FDA technical reviews, provided continuing education. Punctuating his professional roles, he also has hands-on experience managing his family cattle operation.

“Dr. Cain’s practical knowledge and industry insight will be the foundation for communicating the benefits of helping cattle thrive during periods of stress. We’re excited to have him on board” says Mike Nelson, TechMix President.

TechMix has a robust product line of solutions supporting bovine performance during challenges they encounter. These products include YMCP Vitall® and Bovine BlueLite® along with our innovative BovAlign®, BlueLite® Replenish™ Ab+, and Calf Perk® among many others. The TechMix portfolio is key to keeping animal drinking, eating and producing.
