We are a family owned and operated cheese business in the beautiful Driftless region of SW Wisconsin, where we farm 500 acres and milk 175 cows in a seasonal, pasture-based system. Our milk is piped directly from the barn into our creamery, where we produce and distribute award- winning cheeses across the country. 2025 marks our 25th year and we are proud to be at the forefront of American artisan cheese and sustainable agriculture. We are looking for a Farm Manager with the passion and commitment to share in our continued growth and success.

COMPENSATION

• $120-150k, with performance bonus
• On-farm housing & utilities covered

RESPONSIBILITIES include hands-on management of all farm operations, following a 1-2 year transition with outgoing Co-Owner/Farm Manager:

• Oversight of 2 full-time employees
• Milking April-Dec (dry during winter), with a strong emphasis on raw milk quality
• Managed grazing, pasture irrigation and hay production
• AI breeding, calving, managing young stock and herd health
• Facility and equipment repair and maintenance

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of farm management experience
• Desire to be part of a successful artisan cheese business
• Passion for cows, milk quality and grazing
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain relationships with co-workers, contractors, and service providers
• Ability to develop and track farm budgets with Co-Owner/Cheesemaker
• Experience with Microsoft Office and dairy management software
• Dairy Spanish a plus
