Jessica Engel, dairy specialist

(Madison, Wis.) – Jessica Engel recently joined the Vita Plus team as a dairy specialist. She will be serving dairy producers in eastern and central Wisconsin. In her role, Engel will develop high-quality diet formulations, provide management expertise, and offer effective solutions to help producers solve problems and meet their goals. She will also remain up-to-date on cutting-edge technologies to better serve customers now and in the future.

Engel earned her bachelor’s degree in animal science with a dairy emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and a master’s degree in animal science with a dairy nutrition focus from the University of Minnesota. She comes to Vita Plus with more than 18 years of experience in both dairy nutrition and dairy farm management. With this dynamic background, she can provide expertise on various aspects of a dairy operation. Engel most recently served as a dairy nutritionist for an animal nutrition company. Throughout her previous roles, she had consistent success in improving herd performance and troubleshooting issues on farm. Her dedication to maintaining long-term relationships and helping customers succeed will be an asset to the Vita Plus dairy team.
