MADISON – On May 17, 2025, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) will announce the 78th Alice in Dairyland, who will serve as a full-time communications professional for DATCP. Halei Heinzel, the 77th Alice in Dairyland, will continue her term as Alice until the 78th Alice in Dairyland begins her term on July 7, 2025.
DATCP invites media to join the 78th Alice in Dairyland candidates on agricultural tours and to attend two final interview events that are open to the public. Crawford County is home to this year’s events. Media have permission to take photos and video during these programs. Pre-registration is required; please email Kaitlyn Kesler at kariley@uwalumni.com.
