Donors celebrate and remember others through gifts to Wisconsin FFA.

As 2012 winds down, the Wisconsin FFA Foundation extends gratitude to its donors who make their support of agriculture education programs possible. Several contributions are made in honor of a milestone or in memory of a loved one. These tribute gifts bring additional joy to know that the individual's legacy lives on through Wisconsin FFA.

Checks can be mailed with a note of the tribute person and the sponsor's contact information to the Wisconsin FFA Foundation; 1241 John Q. Hammons Drive, Ste 200; Madison, WI 53717.

"It's becoming very popular to make a charitable donation as a family each year during the holiday time, as well as to make a contribution in honor of someone who would rather support others than receive a gift," says Nicole Nelson, Wisconsin FFA Foundation executive director. "Gifts to Wisconsin FFA make a big difference in FFA members' experiences. For example, a $10 gift to Wisconsin FFA will provide one district speaking contest plaque, which provides the encouragement and excitement of doing well and advancing to the next competitive level."

Additional sponsorship opportunities are available through the Wisconsin FFA Foundation, viewable at www.wisconsinffafoundation.org. To show supporter pride for Wisconsin FFA, any donor – corporate or individual – who contributes $10 or more to the Wisconsin FFA Foundation will receive a window cling to highlight their commitment to the organization.

The Wisconsin FFA Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) organization, unites individuals, organizations and companies who share a common interest in the advancement of agriculture and community leadership through FFA. You can support today's FFA members by supporting the programs that have been core tenets of the FFA: proficiency awards, career development events, state FFA degrees, sectional leadership workshops, scholarships, chapter awards, agri-science fair, state FFA convention and state officer support.
