New interactive library helps validate employee understanding of critical health and safety practices and simplify training resources for managers

Alchemy Systems, the global leader in food and workplace safety training has expanded its SISTEM® training platform with the introduction of new interactive health and safety courses. The new health and safety library will complement the company's existing successful food hygiene courses already available with SISTEM, enabling food manufacturers and processors to efficiently and effectively deliver audit ready training to large, diverse workforces.

Designed specifically for training staff working in UK food manufacturing and processing sites, the new library has eleven courses covering areas such as noise awareness, working at heights, slips trips and falls, electrical safety, and lift truck safety awareness. All courses on SISTEM have been developed specifically to support food manufacturers in meeting the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.

Using hand-held remotes, multi-lingual and interactive courses, and just one PC, SISTEM simplifies the delivery and documentation of training to individuals or groups of up to 150. The new health and safety courses feature visual imagery shot at real food facilities to support staff in understanding how the training applies to their individual situation. These courses are in addition to SISTEM's Level 2 accredited Food Safety Training.

SISTEM also assists with meeting regulatory or customer audit compliance reporting. An individual's training programme and progress can be downloaded at any time to demonstrate that training has been effectively implemented and understood.
