Sassy Cow Creamery, an ice cream, fresh milk and farmstead cheesemaking facility located between Sun Prairie and Columbus, will mark its five-year anniversary with a fun and action-packed open house on June 29 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. "The past five years have flown by at Sassy Cow with overwhelming support from all of our customers and community. This is a chance for us to say thank you' to everyone," said James Baerwolf, co-owner, Sassy Cow Creamery.

Sassy Cow Creamery is located at W4192 Bristol Rd., Columbus, Wis. From Hwy 151, take the Bristol Rd. (Hwy N) Exit. Head North on Hwy N and travel seven miles. Look for the big red barn on your left.

Brothers James and Robert Baerwolf and their families built and opened Sassy Cow Creamery in 2008 to bottle milk from each of their distinct herds - a 400-cow traditional dairy and 100-cow organic dairy, both located within miles of each other, with the creamery built in-between.
