BouMatic logoPlatinum sponsor BouMatic® Robotics and its exhibiting partner, BouMatic will join to present their latest innovations in state-of-the art dairy equipment on June 25-27 at Precision Dairy Trade Show and Expo, in Rochester, Minnesota, at the Mayo Civic Center.

This trade show is dedicated to the latest technology in robotic milking, precision management using sensors, activity monitors, computerized solutions and precision feeding.
BouMatic will feature its OptiFlo™ CF, the only true variable speed milk transfer control system for the ultimate in cooling system efficiency.

When milk is pumped through a cooling system at optimum flow rates, more efficient heat transfer occurs at the plate cooler. This reduces cooling system requirements and saves money through lower energy consumption. In addition it qualifies the dairy farmer for Focus on Energy financial incentives for energy-efficient equipment.

Using OptiFlo CF means that the dairy farmer no longer has to settle for old style, energy wasting, variable speed milk pump controls with their inefficient pre-set pump speeds. Whether the milk tank is near empty or full, the OptiFlo CF system automatically adjusts to provide optimum milk flow for maximum milk cooling efficiency.

Since Expos visitors will be able to tour top managed farms near Rochester, Minnesota which use BouMatic's SmartDairy® Management System, they will be able to examine its attributes up close at the BouMatic booth. The dairy industry's only fully integrated dairy management system, SmartDairy collects, delivers and manages critical performance data safely and reliably while providing operational control and monitoring of the dairy enterprise at the touch of a finger.

In the milking parlor, SmartDairy manages pulsation, meters and detachers so dairy managers can evaluate cows, milk production and employee efficiency. For efficient cow traffic flow, SmartDairy controls crowd gates, stall operation and all entrance, exit and sort gates. Outside the parlor, SmartDairy manages milk flow through the receivers and cooling system for maximum cooling efficiency. Cow health and comfort are managed through specialized hoof care and feeding systems.

Also featured at the BouMatic booth is SmartDairy Activity–now enhanced with new SmartDairy version 2.5. SmartDairy Activity, with HeatSeeker™ II technology uses the dairy industry's most advanced ISO-RFID activity monitoring technology to help identify when a cow is ready to breed. A dairy farmer can easily integrate SmartDairy Activity into their current SmartDairy Management System as a robust, stand-alone cow activity system or as a whole-herd solution for both parlor ID and cow activity.

Other Precision Dairy Trade Show and Expo activities will feature discussions with well-known producers and experts about European and American perspectives on adoption of precision technology.
