Details on MPP to be explained to help decision-making process for producers
The Center for Dairy Excellence has invited Rebecca Csutoras, program chief for price support in dairy with USDA Farm Service Agency, to join Alan Zepp, risk management program manager at the Center for Dairy Excellence, to lead a question and answer session on the Dairy Margin Protection Program.
"The center is providing this opportunity for producers to assess how the Margin Protection Program fits into their 2016 marketing plan," Zepp said. "There will be brief overview of MPP but the intent of the conference calls is to help producers evaluate the correct decision for their farm and circumstances."
These calls are free and will coincide with two of Zepp's regular Protecting Your Profits monthly calls. They are specifically designed for dairy producers who have last minute questions before enrolling in the program or adjusting coverage for 2016.
