Domino's and Checkoff Help Deliver Dairy Goodness Events

Domino's Pizza®, a dairy checkoff strategic partner, is helping to celebrate the contributions of the dairy industry through the "Delivering Dairy Goodness" program.

DMI logoThe program showcases dairy farmers' long-standing and everyday commitment to hard work and producing high-quality dairy products for the chain's customers. Domino's, the recognized world leader in pizza delivery, and local dairy checkoff organizations used June Dairy Month as a way to kick off the program at a Utah dairy farm. Additional events – on and off dairy farms – are planned for the remainder of the year.

"We have enjoyed a strong five-year partnership with Domino's, including new opportunities to help connect dairy farmers with pizza lovers across the country," said Paul Rovey, Arizona dairy farmer and chair of Dairy Management Inc. (DMI), which works to help protect and build dairy consumption on behalf of America's dairy farmers and importers. "It is important that we connect consumers with our farms. Not only do we reach our customers, but programs like these also help protect our freedom to operate and produce wholesome, high-quality milk that helps feed our country and the world."

June Dairy Month highlights the U.S. dairy industry's commitment to healthy people, healthy communities and a healthy planet.

The month-long celebration provides an ideal opportunity for farmers and the checkoff to speak with consumers about how dairy is a primary contributor to "Where Good Comes From." These messages are shared through www.dairygood.org and its Facebook and Twitter components.

"Domino's Pizza is privileged to partner with America's dairy farmers and importers," said Patrick Doyle, Domino's Pizza president and chief executive officer. "The ‘Delivering Dairy Goodness' events are a terrific way for our local business owners, along with dairy farms to connect with their communities around the country."
