
Wilson has held a variety of roles in the dairy industry, and most recently served as a young sire program specialist where she also collected and processed DNA for parentage verification across the U.S. She also has experience as a lab technician, packaging bovine semen and preparing health papers for export shipments. In addition, Wilson has helped select and prepare daughters of bulls for photos.
As a cornerstone specialist, Wilson will be responsible for assisting field staff with education and promotion of developing new herds, as well as working with staff to evaluate and maintain data in herds already participating in the ABS Cornerstone® program. She will also be responsible for on-farm evaluation, coordinating and assisting with picturing of ABS-sired progeny and arranging and conducting ABS daughter and herd tours. Wilson will be based out of her home in California and will work with herds throughout the state.
