Adapted loader bucket moves trees and brush
I made two prongs for my loader bucket to load trees onto a flatbed wagon. They are 6 inches wide, and the top is 24 inches long with a 6-inch overhang. The bottom piece is 18 inches long with a 2-inch gap. They are chained onto a U-bolt inside of the bucket for easy attachment and removal.
We cut the branches off and load the rest of the tree onto a wagon, sometimes handling 35- or 40-foot trees. Also, the prongs will pick up brush without digging the bucket into dirt, so cleanup is easier.
