Make It Easy to Keep Tanks Clean
To ensure that water tanks are cleaned out regularly at Duncan Acres Dairy in Franklinton, La., farm owner Brent Duncan placed several milk house scrub brushes inside the fence posts located around their barn. This way, people can easily grab a brush and clean the tanks out as they walk by, giving cows access to fresh, clean water on a daily basis.
