Cost to attend the conference is $200 per person, including breakfast and lunch. Registration is discounted to $150 for representatives of the center's Allies for Advancement.

Now in its seventh year, this highly anticipated event will provide crucial information about dairy risk, financial, business and herd management. The program is designed for dairy lenders and financial consultants to help their dairy clients increase profitability.

Two dynamic speakers will highlight the program:

  • Jerry Dryer, president of J/D/G Consulting, will speak on Pennsylvania's role in the world of dairy products, and
  • Sam Miller, managing director of agriculture banking at BMO Harris Bank, will bring a Wisconsin banker's perspective on the dairy industry

Integral to the program is a panel on environmental permitting to help understand the process producers must go through, and another panel on the need for dairy processing in Pennsylvania and new alternatives for marketing milk in the region. There will be plenty of time for interacting with speakers and panelists.

A complete program with background information on speakers is also available online.

Space is limited, so register early. Registration deadline is September 21. To register, call the center's office at 717-346-0849, or go to www.centerfordairyexcellence.org, under "Programs and Events", and click "Upcoming Events" for a registration form.
