Brian Behnke has joined ABS Global, Inc. as the new St. Jacobs Business Manager and will have general oversight of the internationally respected product line.
"Brian has a wealth of experience in the dairy cattle breeding and A.I. industry, including a thorough understanding of genomics, evaluation systems, and pedigrees that will make him an asset to our global business," commented Mitch Amundson, Global Dairy Brand Manager. "His past work experience as a sales manager and sire analyst, along with his ability to work in a team atmosphere, aligns extremely well with this role."
He will be responsible for the global strategic direction of the St. Jacobs brand and product offering as well as promoting the St. Jacobs brand within the different business regions. His goal will be to grow the brand's notoriety for overall type improvement by engaging with our sales organization, marketing, product development and supply chain teams regularly.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he studied dairy science, Brian has been very active in the dairy and AI industry for many years. In his most recent position as a sire analyst, he was responsible for the acquisition of elite sires throughout the Midwestern United States. He also has experience as a divisional sales manager overseeing the sales development for a region. He will be based out of DeForest, WI.
