New Generation Genetics, the largest Brown Swiss A.I. company in the United States, has announced the addition of Anna Troester to their team. Troester joins the organization as the U.S. Sales & Progeny Support Specialist and will be responsible for the sale of Brown Swiss genetics throughout the Midwest and Western states. She will also play a key role in the company’s promotional efforts.

“Anna brings great experience and knowledge to our growing and dynamic team,” said President of New Generation Genetics, Dan Gilbert. “Her background in the dairy industry coupled with her recent work experience makes her a welcomed addition to the team. We look forward to introducing her to our customers and industry friends in the coming months.”

Since 2012 Troester has served as the Assistant Manager of the Red & White Dairy Cattle Association. In this role she was responsible for all promotional efforts of the organization, including serving as the Editor of Red Bloodlines, managing social media channels, supervising breed shows and coordinating participation in tradeshows and events.

Prior to that, Troester held positions as Export Coordinator for AMS Genetics Int., LLC in Fairplay, Md., and Progeny Intern with Genex CRI. She is a graduate of University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science, with a dairy emphasis and a biology minor. Troester grew up on a dairy farm in Garnavillo, Iowa, where she is still actively involved with her family’s dairy operation.
