Global Dairy Trade announced today that three additional dairy ingredient suppliers have confirmed their participation on GDT Marketplace, its 24/7 dairy trading platform.

The new sellers are:

· Glanbia Ireland, Ireland’s largest dairy processor

· Cayuga Milk Ingredients, a dairy co-operative from New York State, USA

· Milligans Food Group Ltd, a New Zealand supplier of food ingredients.

Eric Hansen, Director of Global Dairy Trade said GDT Marketplace’s strength in discovering new demand and communicating product range and availability to a global pool of credible buyers was continuing to attract new sellers.

Mr Hansen said the platform’s convenience, reliability and flexibility were key factors in attracting both buyers and sellers and in turn supporting growth.

GDT Marketplace has achieved rapid growth over the past six months and now has 11 registered sellers and 239 registered buyers from USA, Western Europe, Oceania, and Asia.

All three of these new sellers will offer listings on GDT Marketplace from this month.

Cayuga Milk Ingredients (CMI) processes milk from 30 family-owned dairy farms in upstate New York. Most of these same farmers are also the owners of the plant, located in Auburn, NY, which has been in operation for three years. The bacteria levels and the spore levels in their skim milk powder are extremely low, and make Cayuga skim milk powder an outstanding choice for infant formula manufacturers or companies producing consumer goods in UHT packaging.
