Chad Vincent, CEO at the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board (WMMB) weighed in on the future of milk marketing as a panelist at the 2018 Dairy Strong conference, saying Wisconsin will become much more active in providing export support to Wisconsin companies seeking new opportunities around the world.

“With the growth projected coming out of Wisconsin, and the country, if we don’t jump on international and build international markets, we are never going to be able to utilize that demand,” Vincent said. “And our job is to make sure that demand is going to be greater than what we can supply.”

Appearing with the CEOs from two national organizations, Michael Dykes of the International Dairy Foods Association (DFA) and Chuck Conner of the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives (NCFC), Vincent provided an overview of WMMB and the programs it provides as well as insights on the strategy and philosophy behind the organization’s future plans.

“We have world leading and industry leading programs that help drive demand, and trust and sales,” he said. Vincent highlighted the decades of consumer product experience at WMMB, including expertise in the dairy industry and market trends and a strong commitment to the growth of Wisconsin dairy. As the marketing and promotion arm of the Wisconsin dairy industry, WMMB is building demand for Wisconsin dairy products and the milk from Wisconsin farmers.
