Three New Board Members Join Cooperative Leadership

FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative recently held its sixth annual member meeting on February 9-10, 2018 in Oshkosh, Wis., and welcomed three new faces to the cooperative board of directors. These new directors include Steve Brock from Daggett, Mich., Bob Dietzel from East Dubuque, Ill., and Wayne Gajewski from Athens, Wis.

Newly-elected Director Steve Brock succeeds Peter Kleiman, who has previously been serving as the director for District 1. Bob Dietzel is the newly-elected director for District 6, succeeding Joe Schmitt. Wayne Gajewski is the newly-appointed director to serve district 4, succeeding Kelly King.

Re-elected to a three-year term on the board is Randy Geiger for District 2 and Kathy Bauer for District 9. Wayne Gajewski will also serve a three-year term.

In addition, the board also elected its officers following the annual meeting, electing John Rettler of Neosho, Wis. to serve as president, Randy Geiger of Reedsville, Wis. as vice-president, Kathy Bauer of Faribault, Minn. as secretary, and Rich Meyer of Unity, Wis. as treasurer.

FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative was established in 2013 and is based in Madison, Wis. The cooperative represents farms in Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota, Michigan, Iowa, Illinois and Indiana through policy bargaining, dairy marketing services, laboratory testing opportunities and industry promotion.
