Matt Simon recently joined the consulting team at Agri-Business Consultants LLC. Simon will provide business and consulting services for dairy producers located in Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota. Some of his responsibilities include developing business plans for dairy modernization, enterprise consulting, business monitoring, financial training for staff and financial benchmarking.

Simon grew up on his family’s dairy farm in eastern Iowa. He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and management at Iowa State University in 2008 and then his master’s degree in business administration at the University of Iowa in 2012. Since then, Simon has worked in a variety of business-related roles, including a business analyst, a procurement trader and manager, a business manager, and a director of business development. Most recently, Simon worked as an adjunct instructor teaching graduate courses on managerial finance and utilizing data for decisions.
