Lucky 13. 'Friday 13' in Zabludow

Friday 13 was a lucky date for SaMASZ. On this day the company celebrated the opening of the new factory in Zabludow. It is a facility of the premium class, which in a short time will allow the company to double or even triple the production. Almost 400 guests took part in the celebrations, among which there were members of the ministry, government agencies, voievodship, city, local government and church authorities. There were also school and academy, bank sector, business, enterpreneurs media representatives. Polish and foreign dealers and importers also took part in the ceremony. Such countries like Germany, Russia, Chile, Canada, USA, Iceland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, UK, Spain, France, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania and Ukraine were present. SaMASZ also hosted their suppliers, co-operants, farmers and friends of the company.

The opening ceremony started with official welcoming speech by the President of SaMASZ Sp. z o.o. engineer Antoni Stolarski and with cutting the ribbon in front of the main entrance accompanied by the family, government and university authorities and the guest of honour – Hans- Peter Fricke, the owner of Fricke-Gruppe. Then the celebration moved to the spare parts depertment warehouse, where the presentation of the company took place. Shortly after Karol Wdziękoński – Sales and Marketing director and Leszek Szulc – Technical Director took the floor. During the meeting His Excellency Archbishop dr Tadeusz Wojda and Parish priest Mirosław Tomaszewski blessed the new factory. A congatulatory letter from Jadwiga Emilewicz, the Minister of Enterpreneurhsip and Technology was read. Later the guests took the floor with the congratulations and wishes. One of the most important parts of the celebrations was a possibility to see all production halls and warehouses.

For the new factory SaMASZ purchased the land of 26 ha. For the new investment 13 ha was used. Production halls and facilities take about 3,8 ha and the roads and other paved surface around 6,6 ha. At the moment SaMASZ employs 750 people, but it is capable of employing up to 1300 in the future.
