An exciting new program is being offered at the National Holstein Convention this summer called “Cows 2 Careers”. This is a high-energy talk show style luncheon presentation featuring a variety of industry professionals to discuss hot topics junior members should be aware of as they think about high school, college, internships, and careers. Following the presentation, universities, industry businesses, and tradespeople will have booths in a career fair format for students to network with and gain critique on resumes, veterinary school applications, and more. They will also have information to share about scholarships, internships, and job openings they need applicants for. Juniors are encouraged to e-mail resumes ahead of time to Tera Baker at tbaker@topcon.com so that she may provide them to the schools and businesses attending.
