TechMix Global announces its summer internship program that will give 5% of all product sales placed through four summer interns, back to the FFA chapter or 4-H club of the customer’s choice. Giving back to organizations that have such tremendous impact on youth who seek to join the industry is the goal. TechMix has designed this 60-day program to encourage young interns, and support select chapters of these terrific organizations.

This summer, TechMix has hired the following four interns:

Kara Zolocsik (Pennsylvania), is a returning TechMix summer intern and recent Penn State graduate holding a degree in Animal Science. She will be riding with route truck drivers this summer and making independent YMCP Vitall sales calls to dairies. In the fall Kara will begin full-time employment with Kubota.

Brandon Goering (Michigan), is currently a student at Michigan State University. Brandon’s father is a DVM with a larger herd practice in Ohio which has inspired Brandon’s career choice in the industry. During high school, Brandon milked cows on a 300 head jersey dairy and has worked for a beef sire service in Michigan.

Bailey Fritsch (Wisconsin), is a University of Wisconsin student. Bailey has been active in livestock her whole life… starting by being raised on a 60 cow dairy. Additionally, she has her own show pig business and has experience managing a beef production animal sale.

Sam Gorden (Iowa), is a student at Iowa State University, and his father is a DVM working at the ISU School of Vet Medicine. As his father’s veterinary practice grew, Sam grew with it and currently works in the University’s dairy barn and is in pursuit of an Animal Science degree.

“Each of our interns are talented people who are passionate about a career in the industry.” says Mike Nelson, TechMix Global President. We are very pleased to support these students and give back to FFA and 4-H. These are two organizations with a history of unmatched support for our industry and we believe this program is a great way to demonstrate our support to them.”

The TechMix summer internship program will run through the end of July… with the 5% proceeds from sales going to local FFA and 4-H organizations in September. To participate, producers only need to submit a proof of purchase and the name of the intern calling on them. Complete details are available by contacting TechMix at 877-466-6455.
