Cumberland Valley Analytical Services, answering a strong demand for its services in the Midwest today announced plans to expand into Madison, Wisconsin. CVAS will open a new Forage and Feed Laboratory located adjunct to the Alliant Energy Center, the host location for World Dairy Expo. This new CVAS service center, opening in September 2018 will provide access to all CVAS’s services with a focus on same day NIR evaluations and XRF mineral analysis.
This location will utilize the latest in CVAS’s forage and feed characterization technology, including the CVAS HVLT-80 drying system. In addition, CVAS will be providing X-ray fluorescence (XRF) as viable tool for fast, accurate, and cost-effective mineral analysis. CVAS recently evaluated this technology and presented at the annual American Dairy Science Association meeting. A copy of the presentation can be viewed here.
“We are excited to provide our Midwest clients with improved access to our services,” said Ralph Ward President of CVAS. "It gives us local presence in all of the key U.S. dairy markets and provides opportunity to bring uniformity of service to our national accounts. We are looking forward to partnering with those involved in forage research in the region."
