Dr. Powell earned her BS in biology from Kennesaw State University before completing her Masters in food animal medicine as well as her DVM at the University of Georgia. She also graduated with a minor in applied statistics and data analysis. Prior to joining Diamond V, she was a practicing veterinarian for Shamrock Animal Health Services in Eatonton, Georgia. She also brings experience in milk quality improvement, protocol development, and staff training to her new role at Diamond V.

Diamond V recently welcomed Dr. Jana Powell, who has joined the company as Southeast Ruminant Field Technical Specialist.
