Diamond V’s ruminant team in Mexico continues to grow, as José Méndez Petterson has joined the company in a Technical Support and Sales role.
“I am happy to announce José has joined the Diamond V team,” says José Ramón Pérez, DVM, Sales and Marketing Manager, Latin America for Diamond V. “In this new role, he will serve the Mexican protein production industry and provide technical support for producers, veterinarians, nutritionists, and feed professionals.”
Méndez Petterson earned his Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering and Animal Science from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education) in Monterrey, Mexico. He also earned a diploma in Beef Cattle Herd Management from Kansas State University in the USA. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the food and agriculture industries, having held leadership roles in companies serving a variety of markets, including work as a district manager for Agribrands Purina Mexico and as a project leader for a company that produces goat milk. Prior to joining Diamond V, he was general manager and partner in Squisito Arte Gourmet, a producer of artisan jams and jellies.
