Crave Brothers Farmstead Classics Cheese knows you’re probably going to be serving cheese at get-togethers this holiday season, and offers some harmonious suggestions to add to your playlist that will complement a melody—oops, make that a medley—of their own artisan cheeses. Crave Brothers Cheese hosted a Facebook contest to find the songs that their cheese brings to mind, and received hundreds of suggestions. Here are the winners.

“Top of the chart” songs to accompany Crave Brothers Mascarpone: What’s the smoothest, sweetest music you can think of to accompany a dollop of Crave Brothers Mascarpone Cheese? Richard Janke won First Place for his suggestion of “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Pentatonix. Sara Marsh won the Second Place prize for suggesting “Sweet Dreams” by the Eurythmics. Crave Brothers sweet, creamy Mascarpone cheese has gathered more than 27 awards since its introduction, including a First Place Award at the 2018 World Dairy Expo Dairy Products Contest.

The “greatest hits” for pairing with Crave Brothers Fresh Mozzarella: First place goes to Kathy Pazak for Dean Martin’s “That’s Amore,” and Valerie Deegan earned second place with her choice of “I Melt With You” by Modern English.

Crave Brothers Fresh Mozzarella comes in several forms, including medallions, 8-ounce balls, 1-pound balls and logs, small mozzarella balls in four sizes, and Marinated Fresh Mozzarella. At the recent 2018 Wisconsin State Fair Dairy Products Contest, Crave Brothers Farmstead Classics Marinated Mozzarella won a First Place Award; it also took First Place honors in the 2018 World Cheese Championships as well the 2018 Dodge County Fair Cheese Judging.

“Best cuts” for listening to with Crave Brothers Cheddar Cheese Curds: Mandy Peirick’s First Place award-winning choice was “Another One Bites the Dust” by Queen (for regular cheese curds) and Jennifer Robinson Schneider’s Second Place song choice, “Fire Burning” by Sean Kingston is a winner for Jalapeño Cheese Curds.

Crave Brothers Cheddar Cheese Curds have a mild, salty flavor, offering the ultimate fresh cheese experience for appetizers and snacks. They’re available in white cheddar, yellow cheddar and jalapeño varieties. Crave Brothers Jalapeño Cheddar Cheese Curds won First Place in the 2017 U.S. Cheese Championships, Natural Snack Cheese category. In 2016, Crave Brothers won First Place in the American Cheese Society awards competition for both Jalapeño Cheddar and Yellow Cheddar Cheese Curds, and Third Place for the White Cheddar Cheese Curds.

“Top spins” for enjoying Farmers Rope String Cheese: Jake Skalitzky called it with his First Place award-winning choice of “International Harvester” by Craig Morgan. Kelli Cull won the Second Place award for suggesting “Can’t Stop The Feeling” by Justin Timberlake. Crave Brothers Farmer’s Rope String Cheese has won more than 29 awards in prestigious cheese competitions, including Second Place at the 2018 Dodge County Fair (WI) Cheese Judging, and Second Place in the 2017 World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Product Contest.

George Crave’s “golden oldies”: While he didn’t compete in the contest, licensed cheese maker George Crave, who oversees the making of all the Crave Brothers handcrafted artisan cheeses, offers his own suggestions for the perfect music to accompany Crave Brothers’ biggest cheese hits. Listen to these songs and see if you don’t agree.

Serve Crave Brothers Mascarpone with “You Make Loving Fun” by Fleetwood Mac (1977). For Fresh Mozzarella, play “Any Way You Want It” by Journey (1980). Enjoy Crave Brothers Jalapeño Cheese Curds with “Born to Run” by Bruce Springsteen (1975).

Finally, while it’s a more recent release, give Luke Bryan’s 2016 song “Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day” a spin with Crave Brothers Farmers Rope String Cheese.

Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese is made with milk from the Crave Family’s own dairy herd. Each cheese variety is sustainably produced in the family’s farmstead cheese-making facility that practices water conservation, recycling, and uses 100 percent green power.
