Applications closing soon for Alltech Wisconsin scholarships

The application deadline is quickly approaching for high school and college students to apply for the Alltech Wisconsin continuing education scholarships. High school and college students furthering their education in the fields of agricultural and life sciences have until Tuesday, January 15 to apply for the scholarship. One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student pursing a four-year degree, and two $500 scholarships will be awarded to students pursing technical degrees in agriculture or life sciences. These awards are open to high school seniors as well as college freshmen, sophomores and juniors.

Brad Rortvedt, regional sales manager for Alltech Wisconsin, stresses the importance of supporting the future leaders in agriculture. “As agriculture industries continue to evolve to meet the demands of tomorrow’s consumer, the industries’ leaders of tomorrow need to be nurtured and encouraged. With these scholarships, Alltech Wisconsin is pleased to support students interested careers that will positively impact the future of agriculture.”

Applicants must reside in Wisconsin, Minnesota or Illinois (north of highway 70) and may attend any school in the United States. Scholarships will be awarded upon proof of completion of the first semester in the 2019-2020 school year. Applications and supporting documents are due to be submitted to the Alltech Wisconsin office by Jan. 15, 2019.
