AQUA Innovations welcomes John Sorenson as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Sorenson has more than 20 years of executive leadership experience, including roles as chief financial officer and expatriate for an international manufacturing company.

Wisconsin-based AQUA Innovations is leading the way in proven nutrient concentration system (NCS) technology. Their NCS separates nutrients from raw cow manure, virtually eliminating pathogens, creating three separate streams, including distilled water. The other nutrient-rich product, void of the majority of phosphorous, can be strategically applied to fields during the growing season rather than over-applying in spring and fall, which is the current standard practice.

Prior to joining AQUA Innovations, Sorenson served as chief financial officer for a Wisconsin-based construction, engineering and private equity company where he oversaw all aspects of finance, accounting and IT functions. He also spent time with Dover Corporation, which for a time landed him in the Netherlands as the lead financial officer of a large printing machine manufacturer. Sorenson graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and Real Estate, and from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Masters in Accounting.
