Media professionals are invited to join 71st Alice in Dairyland Kaitlyn Riley and Walworth County representatives at a press conference announcing the selection of Walworth County as the host county for the 2020 Alice in Dairyland Finals. The press conference will be held Wednesday, May 22, 1:30 p.m., at the Michael Fields Agricultural Institute, W2493 County Road ES, East Troy.

Alice in Dairyland is a communications professional who works to educate the public about Wisconsin agriculture. Each year, a new Alice in Dairyland is selected from a group of candidates during an extensive public job interview process, and, each year, a different county hosts the finals.

Abigail Martin, Milton, recently was selected as the next Alice in Dairyland, the 72nd in the history of the program. Throughout the next year, Martin will attend numerous events in Walworth County to promote its agricultural industries and the events leading up to the selection of the 73rd Alice in Dairyland, which will take place May 14-16, 2020.
