David Larson

Cooperative Network – the trusted voice for cooperatives in Minnesota and Wisconsin – is pleased to welcome David Larson as Government Affairs Director - Minnesota to its legislative team.

A graduate of the University of North Dakota and a current candidate for a Master's of Public Administration there, Larson is an accomplished government affairs specialist with experience in local, state and federal policies, from taxation to regulatory systems. Most recently, he served as the lead staffer on the Minnesota Senate Transportation Committee; prior to that, he served on the staff of the House Ways and Means Committee in Washington. Larson’s wide range of legislative experience includes agriculture, transportation, telecommunications, housing and other areas important to Cooperative Network members.

"David is well known and widely respected by colleagues in Minnesota state government," said Daniel Smith, President and CEO of Cooperative Network. Larson will join Cooperative Network on November 4th and work from the St. Paul, Minnesota office. He resides in Lakeville, Minnesota with his wife, Molly.
