Jim Farrell is currently the President and CEO of Farmers National Company, the nation’s largest Farm Management and Landowner Services company, headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. Joining Farmers National in 1986, Farrell began his career as a Farm Manager and Real Estate agent in Rochester, Minnesota. He was later promoted to Vice President and moved to the Omaha, Nebraska home office and will have served as President and CEO for 15 years upon his retirement at the end of the year. Today the company manages over 5,000 farms and ranches in 29 states, over 2 million acres of land.

Jim Farrell is an Iowa native and a graduate of Iowa State University. He holds the Accredited Farm Manager (AFM) designation from the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. In addition to civic boards and related activities in the Omaha area, Jim has served on the Board of Directors of the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank since 2009, serving 6 years on the Omaha Branch Bank Board before joining the Kansas City Main Bank Board in 2015. He will serve as Chairman of the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank Board of Directors in the coming year.
