The National Ice Cream Mix Association (NICMA) is celebrating its 75th anniversary from January 19-23 at its Annual Meeting and Convention at the Lago Mar Resort & Club in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

The annual event gives members and non-members a chance to network with others who share a common interest in the ice cream mix industry – the foundation of fun for millions of ice cream consumers. Industry speakers share their knowledge and expertise on relevant, current industry topics, including economic, legislative, and regulatory issues.

“The NCIMA Annual Meeting is the preeminent conference for ice cream mix manufacturers, suppliers, and users,” said Bob Kmetz, NICMA President. “The always-excellent conference program, which features business, technical, scientific, economic, and regulatory topics, makes this a must-attend event for the industry and its allies. NICMA’s 75th Anniversary makes this year’s event even more special.

The conference agenda includes speakers discussing important industry topics, such as: reducing food waste; responding to activists who target businesses; cybersecurity; research innovation; the market outlook; and timely federal regulatory and legislative items vitally important to ice cream mix manufacturers and its industry partners. The social program includes a kick-off tailgate reception, golf and mini golf tournaments, a guests tour, and an extra-special annual banquet to celebrate NICMA’s 75th Anniversary.
