
“Keith has served Select Sires for nearly five years as a genetic testing administrator, offering expert coordination and a high degree of accuracy while improving the timeliness of results,” says Chuck Sattler, vice president of genetic programs at Select Sires. “With an ambitious drive and commitment to success, Keith has demonstrated his passion for the industry. We are excited for him to step into this new role.”
As the dairy development data manager, Gibson is responsible for Select Sires’ genomic testing functions, directives regarding the Genetic Data Partner (GDP) program and the Program for Genetic AdvancementTM (PGATM) and will provide staff leadership. He will continue to work closely with breed associations and the Council on Dairy Cattle Breeding (CDCB) to resolve parentage and other DNA testing challenges to ensure timely and accurate genetic information.

Kimble hails from Reston, Va. and holds a master’s degree in animal and poultry science from Virginia Tech and a bachelor of science in environmental biology from McGill University. She has extensive and comprehensive experience working in the animal genetics industry and will be an asset to the Select Sires federation.
