John Tramburg was recently named Vita Plus vice president of operations. Based in Madison, Wisconsin, Tramburg will provide leadership for all areas related to operations at Vita Plus facilities, including customer service, manufacturing, distribution and safety. Additionally, Tramburg will manage the private transportation fleet as well as analyze all capital expenditure proposals and strategic investments to help Vita Plus better serve customers.
Tramburg attended Michigan Technological University before earning his master’s degree in business administration at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has since gained more than 25 years of business experience in operations, supply chain management, customer service and international product sourcing. Tramburg has also held several leadership roles across an extensive list of industries, including vice president of Cabela’s Canada and outdoor services divisions, head of distribution at Uline, vice president of supply chain and logistics at Batteries Plus Bulbs, and, most recently, vice president of operations at Empire Today. In the latter role, Tramburg oversaw 10 distribution centers that serve customers in 75 market areas throughout the U.S.
