Add fun to your day with this dairy Mad Lib.

I know that it’s only March, but so far, I’m not sure I can claim that 2021 is going to be such a success as to erase the trials and pain of 2020. Can you? So, you know what? I don’t want to think today. I mean, obviously I’m going to have to think about something, but why now? So instead of my usual blog post, this week I thought I’d bring a little fun into our lives.

I know that you’re busy; we all are. But why not sit down for 15 or 20 minutes with your family or farm team and do a silly Mad Lib? What do you have to lose? Fifteen minutes, that’s what you have to lose. Or, you’ll just have a good laugh.

Being a farmer isn’t ___________(emotion). There are good __________(period of time-plural) and bad ____________(period of time - plural). We spend countless hours working in ___________(type of weather) weather to take care of our ___________(type of animal-plural) and ______________(type of plant-plural). If I’m being ___________(emotion), it takes a special kind of person to be a farmer.

You must be willing to _____________(verb) until the job is done. There are days when you’ll barely have time to ____________(verb). Maybe you spent all day on a ______________(type of vehicle) in a field or in the _____________(type of building) _____________(verb ending in -ing) _____________(type of animal - plural). Either way, it’s a lot of responsibility.

But you won’t find a farmer ____________(verb ending in -ing). We truly ___________(emotion) what we do.
