FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative scholarships for 2021 are once again available to membership youth pursuing a post-secondary education. The scholarship application deadline is March 31, 2021.

“Education is a cornerstone in the foundation of this cooperative,” says John Rettler, president of FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative. “The cooperative remains committed to supporting our membership youth and their future. Not only is this the ninth year of the cooperative’s scholarship program, but the number of awards given during this time includes more than $166,000 dollars to 192 individuals. FarmFirst is proud to be able to support so many individuals in their pursuit of higher education, and we are eager to see what they contribute back to the agriculture industry.”

The scholarship application is available on FarmFirst’s website, or via this short link: http://bit.ly/2021FarmFirstScholarship. Sons and daughters of membership youth are encouraged to apply as the scholarship is not limited to applicants pursuing a career related to agriculture. Applicants must be the son or daughter of a current cooperative member.

Scholarship recipients will be selected based on leadership, scholastic achievement, extracurricular activities, an essay response, their future plans and career goals. All members of FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative and their children attending four-year universities, two-year technical programs or short courses in addition to high school seniors planning for post-secondary education are eligible to apply for the scholarships.

Applications are due March 31, 2021 and can be found online for online submission or to download the form. For additional information on FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative or to access the scholarship application, visit www.FarmFirstDairyCooperative.com or call (608) 244-3373.
