The Science Museum of Minnesota has welcomed its newest Premier Partner: Midwest Dairy®, an organization that represents local dairy farm families from across 10 Midwest states, and works on their behalf to share dairy’s farm-to-table story and inspire consumers’ confidence in dairy as a local, safe and responsibly-produced choice for their household.

Midwest Dairy was drawn to the partnership with its aligned interests in sustainability and nutrition, and with hopes to inspire young people to pursue science careers and consider the many aspects of agriculture and food production. The partnership also fits into the overall dairy community’s "Undeniably Dairy" campaign that shares how dairy is good for the body and made with care for the planet.

"Midwest Dairy is thrilled to have a new partnership with the Science Museum of Minnesota,” says Midwest Dairy CEO, Molly Pelzer. “Given that both organizations ground our work in science and research, we look forward to collaborating to showcase how dairy can be a solution for the environment and enhancing the love for dairy with the families who visit the museum each year.”

The Science Museum and Midwest Dairy will create a new food experience for museum visitors that will explore agriculture, food security, food systems, and more. The partnership will also assemble a team of partners, scientists, and experts to explore the ways science is used to create a more sustainable, equitable, locally-sourced food supply, as well as dairy connections found in the museum’s research work and collections.
