The National Farmers Union Women’s Conference, set for November 6-8 in Nashville, will prepare attendees for success in agriculture and provide them with a strong network of women farmers and ranchers. Farmers, policy makers, educators, and specialists will present on business management, community building, cooperatives, farming with family, leadership, and more. Participants will have the opportunity to network with other attendees, win prizes, and explore the Music City, including a visit to The Country Music Hall of Fame.
Wisconsin Farmers Union has a limited number of scholarships available for members who would like to attend the conference. The deadline to apply is October 15.
Danielle Endvick, Kriss Marion, and Alicia Razvi from the Wisconsin Farmers Union team will be presenting at the conference. Endvick and Marion, who serve on the communications team, will empower participants to share the stories of rural America in a session called “Get Loud: Changing the World One Story at a Time.” Razvi will speak on juggling farming, work, and family life in a panel discussion moderated by WFU member and former NFU Vice President Patty Edelburg.
“I’ve attended NFU women’s conferences for almost a decade and I can’t say enough about the value of getting to network with women farmers from across the nation,” Marion said. “Now more than ever, farmers need to know and support each other, and women farmers really need to have each other’s backs.”
"There is so much to love about the NFU Women’s Conference,” adds Razvi. “But what really keeps me coming back is that all of these strong, hard-working, smart women have taken time away from the family farm to fill their cup, lean together, and learn from one another. It’s beautiful, and it’s an honor to be part of it."
