David Addis, 74, of Rocky Face, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Edith Addis; his son Shannon Addis; brother Charles Addis and brother-in-law, Charles Davidson.

David was of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Linda Addis of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Kem Addis of Rocky Face; sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Glen Rutherford of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Hannah and Hunter Painter of Rocky Face; nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be Sunday, July 30, 2023, at 1:00pm at the Rocky Face Chapel with Bro. Daniel Addis and Bro. Danny Henson officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 5:00pm till 9:00pm.

Burial will be at Dunnagan Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the charity of your choice.
