We needed a counterweight for our tractor. We welded together the three-point linkage with rebar reinforcement and a trailer hitch. We attached a plywood bottom to a high density polyethylene (HDPE) culvert, inserted the welded assembly inside, and filled it with concrete, leaving about eight inches at the top for tools, chains, and so forth. We can pull logs, wagons, or whatever else we need to by using the appropriate hitch attachment.
