Dr. Annick Delaquis

Dr. Annick Delaquis, Dairy Nutritionist with Sollio Agriculture, has been appointed as Coordinator of Cooperative Research Farms’ Ruminant Research Team. CRF’s Research Teams are self-contained groups responsible for planning, conducting, and communicating research which has the highest probability of providing financial returns to CRF members; and as Coordinator, Dr. Delaquis lead the Ruminant Research Team starting July 1, 2024.

Dr. Delaquis obtained her Ph.D. in Ruminant Nutrition from McGill University in 1992 which was followed by Postdoctoral studies in Digestive Physiology at the University of Montreal. After three years with a biotechnology start-up, she decided to return to nutrition and joined Growmark in 1996 as a Territory Manager for Eastern Ontario followed by two years with PATLQ research and development team. In 2000, Annick joined Agribrands Purina Canada as a Technical Service Coordinator and ‘chef’ of Ruminant Products. In 2012, she accepted a position as Dairy Nutritionist with Sollio Agriculture, where she is responsible of product development and technical support. When joining Sollio Agriculture she became a member of the CRF Dairy Research Team of which she served as Coordinator from 2016-2018; and is Sollo’s representative on the CRF Research Committee. Dr. Delaquis is also a member of ANAC (Animal Nutrition Association of Canada).

CRF is a multi-national organization of feed manufacturers in North America and Europe. For sixty-nine years, CRF members have worked together conducting 3,285 nutrition and management related research trials for the benefit of their customers. The combined scope of the CRF membership represents 12.3 million metric tons of final feed equivalents, 42-member owned feed mills manufacturing feeds of the highest quality, 1,564 employees working to provide superior animal nutrition products and 91 highly skilled individuals employed in research, development, and technical support.
