We recently bought a cattle brush and needed a good way to put it up, so I built a stand out of recycled materials. I used a planter tongue for the post, angle iron from a bale elevator for the base, a large door hinge to make an adjustable stop to ensure the brush doesn’t slide down the post, and some threaded rod.

It’s all bolted to a large concrete block so it can be picked up and moved with the skid loader. The post is capped with some boards and old tin to prevent water from getting into it. The cows really enjoy the brush and haven’t managed to knock it over yet.
