More than 550 companies from across the globe traveled to attend and showcase new technologies at the 2024 World Dairy Expo Trade Show. Representatives from 41 states and 22 countries visited with Expo attendees, taking advantage of the large, diverse crowd at the Alliant Energy Center, who enjoy looking through the engaging booths throughout the Trade Show.

Every year, exhibitors compete to develop the most eye-catching, interactive, and stylish booths to win awards in the following divisions: New Booth, Small Booth, Medium Booth, and Large Booth. These divisional awards were sponsored by Econoprint during the 57th event. A panel of judges evaluated the booths, looking at inviting, interactive displays.

In the New Booth division, CATTLEytics, from Ontario, Canada, won top honors. Child-friendly elements and the inviting nature of presenters took this booth to the top. CATTLEytics is a dairy-focused technology company, transforming dairy farming by streamlining operations using digital systems and apps. These tools allow farmers to focus on caring for cows and producing high-quality milk while improving profitability and sustainability.

First Defense Calf Health, based in Portland, Maine, took home the Small Booth division award. From stylish leather jackets to mohawk-type hats, First Defense Calf Health had a strong line around their booth all week. Youngstock-focused solutions are prioritized by First Defense Calf Health, using science-proven and USDA-approved scours-prevention products, to assist in keeping dairy and beef animals healthy.

The Medium Booth division winner, Low Carbon Technologies, hails from Plain City, Ohio. Greenery and eye-catching displays donned the booth, focusing on the tie to sustainability initiatives for the dairy industry. Low Carbon Technologies is committed to assisting producers with sustainable solutions, such as reduced greenhouse gas emissions, while earning a premium for their low carbon production practices.

Merck Animal Health took home the award for the Large Booth division. The modern design and refined look took Merck Animal Health to the top of their division. Merck’s research-driven technologies allow them to develop, manufacture, and market various veterinary medicines and services in the United States and internationally.

These companies were recognized at the Commercial Exhibitor Party, hosted by Hoard’s Dairyman and World Dairy Expo, on Tuesday, October 1.
